Suganya is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with around 8 years of experience in various rehabilitation and hospital setting since 2016. She was graduated from Institute of Speech and hearing, Madras Medical College affiliated to Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She is adept in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, swallowing and cognitive-communication disorders across diverse populations. She has proven expertise in developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life. Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Bengali. She has been licensed by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She is a life time member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA).
She is committed to a Neurodiversity affirming, play-based and child-led approach to therapy. Her areas of expertise include handling Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Articulation and Phonological disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, feeding disorder, childhood aphasia, and Apraxia of speech. She empowers children to communicate functionally supporting parents through training and advocacy. Her interest extends to the area of research where she indulged herself in various podium, poster presentations and consequently was awarded outstanding research paper of the year.
